My Story

Born and raised in a little city near the beach, Rimini, with and interest in digital products and technology since High School. Coder for more than 8 years, over time I realised that I could contribute more while being another 'version' of myself. That’s when I joined the University of Birmingham to study Human Computer Interaction 🇬🇧.

In September 2020, Covid brought me back to Rimini where I started working as a UX Designer for an Italian company leader in the Oil & Energy sector. There, I worked on many B2B projects in partenership with International companies like ENI, RATPDev and Shell. Now you can find me working alongside Accenture Song in the Financial Services sector.

I love eating pizza 🍕, pasta and chicken, especially when my brother cooks for me. He is a chef!

UX Designer

Worked on different projects from Mobile Apps to Amazon Alexa Skills. We strived to solve problems with highly usable and user-centric products. My responsabilities ranged from User Research to the final handoff. I worked alongside the Marketing Team and a Graphic Designer who helped me design the User Interface elements. The role was focused on User Research and User Experience.

Don't just take my word

A. C. (colleague in Accenture)

"Mattia is an outstanding performer, capable of delivering high-quality results even under pressure and in a time crunch. On top of an impeccable technical ability, has shown skills in creating and holding relationships with the client and in managing junior figures. As attitude and capabilities show no flaws, the only step forward for his growth is to continue to gain experience by being continuously exposed to new challenges."

My phylosophy

Show and tell

The sooner we ship something, the faster we get feedback, and the quicker we learn if we’re delivering value.

Instinctive

Observe users’ behaviours and how they engage with a product to create solutions that users can instinctively interact with.

We’re not the user

We must have enthusiasm for what we do, but it doesn’t mean we should take our assumptions as truth.
